Euthanasia

Understanding When It's Time to Say Goodbye

In preparation to know if it's your pet's time, we have formulated end-of-life questions to help you determine if humane euthanasia should be considered:

1. Is your pet any chronic pain that cannot be alleviated or controlled with any medication?

2. Has your pet stopped eating and/or lost weight?

3. Does your pet have chronic vomiting and diarrhea that can't be controlled?

4. Has your pet's activity levels dropped?

5. Does your pet have a hard time standing or walking on its own?

Compassionate Pet Euthanasia

During your visit, our veterinarian will examine your pet's health, help you determine if euthanasia is appropriate or not, and go over the process. During the process, you and your family can choose how involved you wish to be in your pet's final moments. If you'd like to stay with your beloved dog or cat throughout their last moments, our staff will escort you to a private room where you can take some time to say your goodbyes or hold your pet while he or she passes.

At our facility, we also offer private cremation and paw prints if you would like to commemorate your beloved pet and the endless memories that have been made.
