As in human medicine, we have a variety of medications available to manage your pet’s pain both before and after surgery and in the event of trauma. Our pain management protocols include the use of epidural anesthetics, and medications including butorphanol, metacam, and rimadyl, just to name a few. Our surgery patients all receive pain medication prior to any surgical procedure, allowing pets to maintain the most comfort possible.
